Lectures and workshops at UNAB Concepción, Chile

Kirill visited Universidad Andrés Bello in Concepción for four days of lectures and hands-on sessions on enzyme simulations.

From 20 to 23 July, Kirill visited the Department of Chemical Sciences of Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) in Concepción, Chile, at the invitation of Dr. María Fernanda Mendoza.

Over four days, graduate students and researchers from UNAB and other universities in the region learned about enhanced sampling, the Adaptive String Method and machine learning potentials for simulating enzyme reactions, through lectures, hands-on sessions and individual meetings focused on their own research projects.

The activity was funded by the Fondecyt de Iniciación project 11241225 led by Dr. Mendoza, and strengthens the collaboration between UNAB and the Universitat de València, including future exchanges of graduate students.
